Aromatically restrained with a cool and complex nose. Scents of red raspberry, violet, rose petal, black cherry, spice, cinnamon, anise and a hint of orange tea. An intensely stony taste with a broad array of flavors that only adds to the powerful and long finish. Very popular vintage from the Domaine Comte de Vogüé winery in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France. 

Relatively light, this wine can pair well with a many different food items. The grapes used to ferment prefer cooler climates. Contains an Alcohol-By-Volume of 12.4%.

The Domaine Comte de George de Vogue has been in the same family for over 500 years. It is located in the Chambolle-Musigny region of Burgundy, France. Ever since 1985, the winemaker Francois Millet has been the master crafter behind these extraordinary wines. The vines on the estate are on average 40 to 50 years old. 

It is a Pinot Noir and is highly prestiged coming with the regional designation of Grand Cru.
